In memory of William R. MacKaye

The few people who care often wonder why I do what I do, because it doesn’t make sense on first, or even second, look. Some folks understand the pattern, and a subset use that understanding to keep me on my better side—argue, manipulate and trick me into flashes of optimism, breaks of light.

One fewer now, as William R. MacKaye passed in Connecticut in August at the age of 89. The Washington Post actually ran a proper obituary. Chaedrol Fund donated $5,000 to Loaves and Fishes in his memory. He will be missed very much.
