Four Seasons Minneapolis room rates, May 2023

I’m a Minnesota-raised Korean adoptee via the Children’s Home Society there. As such, I’m a frequent Delta flyer and am more-than-the-average-bear-familiar with the Twin Cities hotel market.

A new entrant into that market is the Four Seasons; Minneapolis is a relatively small and midwest-cheap market for the midscale luxury brand from Minnesota’s northern neighbor. Based on my occasional searches, the property’s determined to maintain room rates with a 5 in front of them no matter the season, including dead of Minnesota winter. For example, tonight, 12 May, room rates at the Marriott Luxury Collection Hotel Ivy start at $322, while at the Four Seasons, they start at a nonrefundable $505.

Maybe it’s unsurprising the Toronto-based hods $500+ room rates all four intemperate Minnesota seasons, but even in May they’re backdooring sub-$400 rates via third-night-free deals.
